Ok, I can see where some other customers note that this is hard, it is a somewhat thick dark chocolate bar, that, in my experience, is going to be common and that’s perfectly fine! If you prefer more “melt in your mouth” there are some dark chocolate recipes that might get you there, but in my experience you’re really looking for milk chocolate if that’s what you like. I’ve also had other allulose-based dark chocolates (premium-style) that are good, but far too sweet for my taste. These are just right. I am hyper-sensitive to the lingering bitter aftertaste of most sugar substitutes but I flat out couldn’t tell the difference between a full sugar version of a nice European-style dark chocolate bar and this (European chocolates tend to be less sweet than American ones, in my experience, and I like that!) Some have noted the potential for melting… that’s pretty heavily dependent on the weather but I live in New Orleans and ordered this during summer where it was delivered in 98 degree weather. It had a small freezer-gel pack on the top of it that was fully melted by the time I got it, but the pack was at least still cool. I immediately put them in my fridge but expected they will will have at least some melting, but in fact there was none for me. As with anything your mileage may vary. Overall, I think these are excellent dark chocolates (and i wish there were more varieties of it than just plain dark chocolate!) and I will certainly be ordering more.
